CARDOTAKU LLC (hereinafter "we", "us", or "Binami"), located in Osaka, Japan, operates the Binami application and website (binami.io). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

  • Account information: email address, username, display name, avatar
  • Location data: GPS position (only while the app is actively in use, never in background)
  • User-generated content: place submissions, event submissions, check-ins, photos, reports
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, device type, browser
  • Payment data: processed by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers

  • Provide the mapping and community service
  • Verify check-in proximity (within ~200m of a place)
  • Display your public profile and contributions
  • Process donations via Stripe
  • Improve the service and fix issues
  • Send essential service notifications

4. 資料分享

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only with:

  • Mapbox: for map display and geocoding
  • Stripe: for payment processing
  • Supabase: our database and authentication provider

5. 資料保留

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting privacy@binami.io.

6. Cookie

We use only essential technical cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Under the GDPR (for EU residents) and APPI (for Japan residents), you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to processing of your data

8. 兒童

Binami is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
